Guide to righteousness; leader
Derived from the Arabic root 'h-d-y', Hadia is the feminine form of Hadi. It carries the spiritual connotation of being a guide or leader toward the right path. In Islamic tradition, Al-Hadi is one of the 99 names of Allah, signifying the ultimate guide.
