Date palm
A variant of the Hebrew name Tamar, referring to the date palm tree. In the ancient world, the palm tree symbolized grace, beauty, and fruitfulness. It appears in the Old Testament as the name of several significant women, including a daughter-in-law of Judah and a daughter of King David.
