Day-maid or glorious day
Derived from the Old Norse name Dagmær, composed of the elements 'dagr' (day) and 'mær' (maid). It was historically popular among Scandinavian and German royalty, often associated with the beloved 13th-century Queen Dagmar of Denmark.
