One; lamb
Derived from the Latin 'unus', meaning 'one', it is often associated with unity and uniqueness. In Irish tradition, it is also linked to the word 'uan', meaning 'lamb', and was a popular name for legendary queens and figures in folklore. The name was famously used by Edmund Spenser in his epic poem 'The Faerie Queene' to represent Truth.
