Lady, noblewoman, or descendant of the Prophet
Syeda is the feminine form of Syed (or Sayyid), an Arabic title of respect. It is traditionally used to denote women who are recognized as descendants of the Islamic prophet Muhammad through his daughter Fatimah. In many cultures, it serves as both a given name and an honorific title signifying noble lineage.
