Rose or gentle horse
A variant of Rosalie, which is derived from the Latin 'rosarium' meaning a garden of roses. It may also trace back to Germanic roots through the name Rosalind, combining 'hros' (horse) and 'lind' (soft or gentle). In modern usage, it is primarily associated with the floral imagery of the rose.
