Noble bear
Derived from the Germanic name Alberich, it combines the elements for 'elf' and 'ruler' or 'king'. It is most famously known as the name of the King of the Fairies in medieval and Renaissance literature, particularly Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
