Fair shoulder
Nuala is a diminutive of Fionnuala, a name rooted in Irish mythology. In the legend of the Children of Lir, Fionnuala was transformed into a swan for 900 years. The name is derived from the Gaelic elements 'fionn', meaning white or fair, and 'guala', meaning shoulder.
