Victory of the people
Nikala is a modern feminine variant of Nikola or Nicole, ultimately derived from the Greek name Nikolaos. It combines the elements 'nike', meaning victory, and 'laos', meaning people. While rare in the United States, it follows the popular trend of using 'K' spellings for classic Greek-rooted names.
