Lily
Lilla is primarily a Hungarian form of Livia or Lydia, though in many cultures it is used as a diminutive of Elizabeth or as a direct reference to the lily flower. It carries a delicate, floral association similar to the more common Lily or Lillian but with a distinct European flair. The name was popularized in Hungary by the 18th-century poet Mihaly Csokonai Vitez, who used it for his muse.
About 26 girls were named Lilla in 2025.
