Follower; to reach for the sky
Derived from the Greek name Ikaros, the meaning is debated but often associated with the verb eikein, meaning to yield or follow. In Greek mythology, Icarus was the son of Daedalus who famously flew too close to the sun with wings made of wax. While historically seen as a cautionary tale, the name has recently been reclaimed as a symbol of ambition and daring.
