Eduar is a Spanish and Portuguese variation of the Germanic name Edward. It is composed of the elements 'ead', meaning wealth or fortune, and 'weard', meaning guard or guardian. While less common than the standard Spanish Eduardo, it maintains a strong, traditional feel.
