Bear-bear
A compound name common in Yiddish-speaking communities, combining the Hebrew word 'Dov' and the Yiddish word 'Ber', both of which mean bear. It is traditionally used as a double name to provide a vernacular translation of the Hebrew original.
About 10 boys were named Dovber in 2025.
