Unswaying or unyielding
Derived from the Greek name Atalanta, meaning 'unswaying' or 'unyielding.' In Greek mythology, Atalanta was a swift-footed huntress who refused to marry anyone who could not beat her in a footrace. It is also the name of a major city in Georgia, USA, giving it modern place-name appeal.
