Lion of God
A rare variant of Ariel, derived from the Hebrew name Ari'el. In the Old Testament, it is used as a symbolic name for Jerusalem and also appears as a messenger's name. While the 'Arriel' spelling is less common than the traditional 'Ariel', it retains the same powerful etymological roots.
Fewer than 5 girls were named Arriel in 2025.
