Light
Yitta is a Yiddish diminutive form of the name Judith, which originally meant 'woman of Judea'. However, in many Ashkenazi traditions, it became associated with the Yiddish word for 'light'. It has historically been a popular name within Jewish communities in Eastern Europe.
