Bringer of joy; she who blesses
Originally a diminutive of Beatrix or Beatrice, Trixie has evolved into a standalone name. It derives from the Latin word 'viatrix', the feminine form of 'viator', meaning traveler, but was later influenced by 'beatus' meaning blessed.
