Big settlement or homestead
A modern phonetic variation of the Welsh name Trevon or Trevane. It combines the Welsh element 'tre' meaning 'settlement' or 'town' with a second element often associated with 'vaughan' meaning 'little' or 'mawr' meaning 'great'. In contemporary American usage, it is often chosen for its rhythmic, stylish sound.
