Thor's wave or Thor's love
A Scandinavian name derived from the Old Norse elements 'Thor' (the god of thunder) and 'unnr' (wave) or 'una' (to love). It carries a sense of mythological strength combined with the fluidity of the sea. While rare in the United States, it remains a recognized traditional choice in Norway and Iceland.
