Derived from Tatiana, meaning unknown or fairy queen
Tionna is a modern American elaboration of the name Tiana, which itself is a diminutive of the Latin name Tatiana. While the original Roman root Tatius has an obscure meaning, it is often associated with the legendary King of the Sabines or the concept of a fairy queen in folklore.
