Little poet or fair one
Teagen is a modern spelling variant of the Irish name Teagan, derived from the Gaelic name Tadhgán, a diminutive of Tadhg. It carries the poetic meaning of 'little poet' but is also associated with the Welsh word 'teg' meaning 'fair' or 'beautiful'. While the 'Teagan' spelling is more common, this 'en' ending offers a slightly more gender-neutral appeal.
