Bull; from the Taurus mountains
Tarus is a rare variant of Taurus, derived from the Latin word for bull. It is also associated with the Taurus Mountains in southern Turkey, suggesting a connection to strength and the natural landscape. In some contexts, it may also be used as a shortened form of the Greek name Taras.
