Twin
Tamzin is a Cornish contraction of Thomasina, the feminine form of Thomas. It shares the same etymological root as Thomas, derived from the Aramaic word for twin. While Thomasina feels heavy and Victorian, Tamzin offers a spunky, modern alternative that has been popular in the UK since the 1970s.
