Savior or deliverer
Derived from the Greek word 'soter', meaning savior. It was historically used as a title for deities and later adopted by early Christians to refer to Jesus Christ. The name gained some usage in Spanish and Portuguese speaking cultures due to Saint Soter, a second-century pope.
