Hospitality or of the hospitable
Senya is often used as a diminutive form of Xenia, a name of Greek origin. It carries the ancient Greek concept of 'xenia', which refers to the ritualized friendship and hospitality shown to guests. In Slavic cultures, it is also frequently used as a nickname for names like Semyon or Arseniy, though it stands alone as a feminine choice in many regions.
