Old man or Sabbath
Derived from the Aramaic word 'sava', meaning old man or grandfather. It is also closely associated with the Sabbath, the day of rest, through its Greek and Hebrew roots. In Greek culture, it is a traditional name often given to boys born on a Saturday or in honor of Saint Sabbas the Sanctified.
