Wise protector
A Spanish and Portuguese variant of Raymond, derived from the Germanic elements 'ragin' (counsel) and 'mund' (protection). It suggests a person who provides wise guidance and safety to others. While less common than the English version, it retains a strong, traditional presence in Hispanic cultures.
