Pleasing, charming, or beautiful
In Sanskrit, Rama means 'pleasing' or 'charming.' While most famously associated with the male hero of the Ramayana, it is also used as a feminine name in India, sometimes referring to Lakshmi, the goddess of fortune and beauty.
