Fair, white, or clear
Pheona is a rare variant of the Scottish name Fiona, which was popularized in the 19th century by author William Sharp. It is derived from the Gaelic word 'fionn', meaning fair or white. While the 'Ph' spelling is much less common than the traditional 'F' version, it gives the name a more classical, Greek-inspired aesthetic.
Fewer than 5 girls were named Pheona in 2025.
