Strength or courage
Derived from the Hebrew word 'oz', meaning strength, power, or might. It is often used as a diminutive for names like Oswald or Osmond, but stands alone as a short, punchy biblical name. In modern culture, it is famously associated with the magical land created by L. Frank Baum.
