Derived from the Greek word 'okeanos', referring to the vast body of water that the ancient Greeks believed encircled the world. It is a feminine form of Oceanus, the Titan god of the sea in Greek mythology. The name evokes a sense of depth, vastness, and the natural beauty of the marine world.
