Victory of the people
A modern phonetic variation of Niko or Nico, which are short forms of the Greek name Nikolaos. It combines the elements 'nike', meaning victory, and 'laos', meaning people. While the 'ie' spelling is rare, it maintains the energetic and international appeal of its root.
