Victory of the people
Nicolet is a diminutive form of Nicole, which ultimately derives from the Greek name Nikolaos. It combines 'nike' (victory) and 'laos' (people). While more commonly seen as a surname or a place name in North America, it serves as a rare, delicate alternative to the more popular Nicole or Nicolette.
