Big eyes or of the sun
Nayra is a name with diverse roots. In the Aymara language of the Andes, it means 'eyes' or 'the one with big eyes.' It is also associated with Arabic origins, where it is often interpreted as 'radiant' or 'shining,' similar to the name Naira.
