Prophet or light of the prophet
Nabor is a name of ancient origin, most notably associated with Saint Nabor, a 4th-century Roman soldier martyred for his Christian faith. While its exact etymology is debated, it is often linked to Semitic roots meaning 'prophet' or Latin interpretations of 'light'. It has historical roots in Europe, particularly Italy and Spain, but remains very rare in the United States.
