Lover of hounds or high desire
Derived from the Irish name Conchobhar, it is most commonly interpreted as 'lover of hounds' or 'wolf lover.' In Irish mythology, it was the name of the legendary King of Ulster, Conchobar mac Nessa. The name has remained a staple of Irish identity for centuries.
