Moonlight or splendor of the moon
Derived from the Persian words 'mah' meaning moon and 'tab' meaning light or radiance. It is a poetic name used across South and Central Asia to signify beauty and celestial brilliance. While historically used for both genders, it is frequently chosen for boys in many Persian-influenced cultures.
