Of the Maasai people
Massai is a variant spelling of Maasai, referring to the Nilotic ethnic group inhabiting northern, central, and southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. As a given name, it is often chosen to honor East African heritage and the reputation of the Maasai as fierce warriors and keepers of tradition.
