Of Mars; warlike or dedicated to Mars
Marshea is a modern American elaboration of Marcia, which is the feminine form of the Roman name Marcius. It ultimately derives from Mars, the Roman god of war. The name gained some usage in the mid-20th century as parents experimented with phonetic spellings and the '-shea' suffix.
