Of Mars; warlike
Markale is a modern American elaboration of the name Mark, which derives from the Latin name Marcus. It is historically linked to Mars, the Roman god of war, suggesting a spirited or brave nature. This specific variation is rare and likely emerged as a creative rhythmic extension of traditional roots.
