Magally is a Spanish-influenced variant of Magali, which is the Occitan form of Magdalene. It ultimately traces back to the Hebrew name Mary Magdalene, referring to a woman from Magdala, a village on the Sea of Galilee. The name is often associated with the Greek word for pearl.
