Wild cat; bright light
Derived from the name of the medium-sized wild cat, which itself comes from the Greek word 'lynx' meaning 'light' or 'brightness.' This etymology refers to the animal's reflective, glowing eyes. It is a rare choice that fits the modern trend of using fierce animal names.
