Of the night
A modern spelling variant of Lilith, which is derived from the Akkadian word 'lilitu' meaning 'of the night'. In Jewish folklore, Lilith was a figure of the night, though modern parents often choose this 'y' spelling to soften the name and associate it with the lily flower.
About 18 girls were named Lilyth in 2025.
