Leeya is a modern phonetic spelling of the Hebrew name Leah. In the Old Testament, Leah was the first wife of Jacob and the mother of six of the tribes of Israel. The name can also be interpreted as a variant of Liyah, meaning 'I belong to God' in Hebrew.
