Alder tree grove
Derived from the French surname 'Lavergne', which itself comes from the Gaulish word for the alder tree. It was historically used for both genders but became more established as a masculine name in the early 20th century before falling out of common usage. It evokes a sense of mid-century Americana and natural landscapes.
