Young lion or leader
Kion is most famously recognized as a modern creation for the Disney universe, likely derived from the Swahili word 'kiongozi' meaning leader. It is often associated with the imagery of a young lion, following the naming conventions of 'The Lion King' franchise. In some contexts, it is also viewed as a variant of the Irish name Cian, meaning ancient.
