To shine upon man
A rare variant of Cassandra, which originates from Greek mythology. It is derived from the elements 'kekasmai', meaning to shine or excel, and 'aner', meaning man. In legend, Cassandra was a Trojan princess gifted with prophecy but cursed never to be believed.
Less common today
Kassaundra isn't in the latest US Top 1000. It last peaked at #2,771 in 1990.
