Gracious
A modern elaboration of Joanna or Jovanna, ultimately derived from the Hebrew name Yochanan. It combines the traditional roots of 'God is gracious' with a more rhythmic, contemporary American styling. It is often associated with the Latin 'Jove' or Jupiter, though its linguistic path is primarily through the Italian Giovanna.
