Gracious; white wave
Jenay is a modern phonetic variation of Jane or Jenna, often influenced by the French name Renée. It combines the Hebrew roots of Jane, meaning 'God is gracious,' with the Cornish or Welsh elements of Jennifer, meaning 'white wave' or 'fair one.'
