Beautiful, elegant, or graceful

Derived from the Arabic root j-m-l, Jamillah is the feminine form of Jamil. It conveys a sense of physical beauty as well as inner grace and excellence of character. While less common in the United States than the spelling Jamila, it remains a respected traditional name across the Muslim world.
